Three students at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have been elected to serve in different capacities at the just ended University Students Association of Ghana (USAG) congress.
Mr. Frank Toko a student at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources has been declared General Secretary elect. He surpassed Elikem, an esteem competitor by 156 votes. Provisional results stands at 258 as against 102 votes for Elikem.
This makes Mr. Frank Toko the second KNUST student in succesion to win that portfolio after Mr. Joshua Opey.
Mr. Derrick Tindana has also been declared Press and Information Secretary elect after securing 306 votes out of 439 votes cast.
The Financial Controller has been comfortably secured by Frank Poku Duah by 272 votes.
Mr. Emmanuel Baidoo, 4th year BSc. Natural Resources has also been declared International Diaspora Relations Secretary elect after securing 260 votes out of 441 votes cast.
The Congress was held from Friday May 14 to Sunday May 16, 2021. Mr. Frank is 4th year Business Administration student.
