KNUST extends registration to 30 July; defaulters will not sit for second semester exams -Registrar

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has on July 15, 2021, issued a 14-day ultimatum to students who are yet to register for the semester.

In a circular addressed to the various College provosts, the university has said that unregistered students who fail to meet the deadline should be prevented for sitting for the second semester examinations.

The UITS has been directed to reopen the biometric and course registration portals from Friday, July 16 to Friday, July 30.

According to the Senior Registrar, Mr. Charles Asamoah boateng, the decision comes on the back of the 413th Executive Committee Meeting held on Monday, July 12.

The decision is in accordance with section 24(I) of the University’s Regulations on the conduct of examinations, the statement reads.
