The routes that lead up to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology are numerous. The most famous ones are the main gate with the Kwame Nkrumah statue boldly flanking it on the left hand side of the enormous traditional stool-look entrance. The other gate which connects the school’s feeder roads to the Kumasi-Ejisu main stretch is another one of these famous routes.

The University Relations Office has today, April 6, 2021 announced the temporary closure of the Botanical Garden/ Tech Police Station route. This is to allow for some construction work going on around the Gate that connects the Botanical Garden crossroad to the Ejisu main road.

No specific timeframe has been announced for the completion of the construction work but according to the communique issued, the University community will be alerted immediately the work is completed. The U.R.O as such urged all commuters who patronize the route to find alternate means of accessing the Kumasi-Ejisu stretch of road from the KNUST campus.
