In the late hours of yesterday, February 4, 2021, the student populace at Tech caught wind of a rumour of a final year student at University’s School of Business passing on. It was unconfirmed as at then but has been confirmed now.

Chelsea Opoku Agyeman was a final year student at the KNUST School of Business pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resource Management option.

Per a communique released from the outfit of KNUST School of Business Students’ Association (KSBSA), Ms. Agyeman passed on after a short illness for which she left school to take care of during the week.

The Association stated in its communique,
“Sad days as we inform you about the sudden death of Chelsea Opoku Agyeman, a final year HRM student in KSB who passed away at home yesterday after reporting a short illness. We will keep the students abreast with any information relating to her burial arrangements.”

The University’s administration is yet to release any communique on this recent development. We will keep the university community posted on any updates from the issue. We extend our condolence as a campus-based media house to the family of Ms. Agyeman.
