Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has supplied nose masks to all college registrars. All KNUST students are to contact their college registrars to receive theirs.

Following the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and deaths, President Akufo-Addo ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP), James Oppong Boanuh to strictly enforce the mandatory wearing of nose masks among Ghanaians.

This directive applies to students as well, and in view of that, the management of the University has taken it upon itself to supply students and staff with face masks. They are to wear them to avoid contracting the coronavirus and protect themselves as well.

This is a mandatory rule that all are required to abide by.

This information was released by the management of KNUST, in a letter sealed and signed by the Deputy Registrar and University Relations Officer, Dr. Daniel Norris Bekoe to all KNUST students.
