The KNUST SRC Parliament has approved the establishment of the pending College of Art and Built Environment Students’ Society (CABESA) senate.
The senate will ensure proper representation at every level of the students life and coordinated legislative activities that affect students.
At the first KNUST SRC Parliamentary sitting for the second semester, the agenda centered on the approval of a constitution for the Residential facilities on and off campus and the presentation and approval of the CABESA Senate.
This senate embodies representation from the various departments that make up the College of Art and Built Environment Students Association. The approval comes after consultation within the college’s stakeholders and the consent of parliamentarians within the KNUST SRC Parliament.
This approval creates the opportunity for various elections to be held to fill up newly created positions within the College.
Meanwhile, KNUST’s election period is also in proximity and trust us to continue updating you with all the needed information.
