University of Ghana appoints Prof. Appiah Amfo as Acting Vice-Chancellor

Prof. Aba Appiah Amfo has been appointed as the acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana.

Her appointment takes effect from August 1, 2021.

She will be acting as the Vice-Chancellor of the University until the appointment of the substantive Vice-Chancellor.

Prior to her appointment, she was the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University, in charge of the Students and Academic Affairs.

Her appointment comes few hours after the institution of a new Council for the University.
