Felix Tawiah Ayittah, one of the Presidential candidates in this year’s University of Ghana Students Representative Council election says that the vetting results, released by the Electoral Commission, do not reflect his performance when he was assessed over the weekend.
Felix and his running mate, Paul Baah Andam, appeared before the SRC Vetting Panel as part of the processes leading to the election scheduled for September 10, 2021.
The team was graded 69% by the vetting panel,
Reacting to the vetting results, Felix Ayittah said that he was not happy with the outcome.
“I am not too happy with the vetting results and I don’t I think that’s not the true reflection of what transpired in the vetting room. So I am saying I reject and I am not happy with the results but if you are leading in the vetting it doesn’t mean that you’re going to win the elections,” Felix Ayittah told UniversNews.
Felix Ayittah is not the only Presidential candidate unhappy with the outcome of the vetting.
Priscilla Asantewaa Ayeh, the only female in the race, says that her 63.69% grade does not correspond with her vetting performance.
That notwithstanding, she says that the team will keep pushing harder to record success in the polls.
