409 new COVID-19 infections have pushed Ghana’s active case count to 6,969.
This development is as of August 5, 2021, and was disclosed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Sunday, August 8, 2021.
The number of confirmed cases currently stands at 108,226 with 100,383 recoveries.
874 people have however succumbed to the disease.
36 people are in critical conditions and 87 people are in severe conditions.
The country has conducted a total of 1,484,878 tests.
So far, a total of 1,271,393 vaccine doses have been administered with 865,422 being only the first dose and 405,971 being the first and second doses.
