COVID-19: ‘Deadly’ Delta variant fast spreading in local communities – Noguchi warns

There is a rapid spread of the Delta variant of the coronavirus disease in local communities.

This was disclosed by the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research in a statement released on Saturday, July 24, 2021.

The Institute says that urgent steps must be taken to prevent the possibility of another outbreak of the disease.

It says that the situation is even more alarming as fully vaccinated persons were contracting the variant.
