“As I discussed with my contractors and what we have decided is that what is going to be important is that we have warranty. Maintenance wouldn’t become a problem if there is warranty involved. So yes of course it may sometimes cause more to have warranty. But that is a cost we are willing to pay for the sake of longevity. The project will start immediately as of tomorrow, items will be ordered and by the 19th we believe the roof will be done and I assured it because i strained it with my contractor.” He said.

Further speaking, he stressed on his intention to create more awareness with regards to mental health and hinted on partnership with the Director of Pantang Hospital.

“I committed to this and here I am four weeks from then with the contractors that have been paid. We have a contract for them to do a new roof here at Pantang hospital at no cost to the hospital or the government themselves. As far as what I am initiating it is simply awareness as the Director mentioned that there is a need for awareness to be promoted with regards to mental health and I also want to add substance abuse. So, I believe part of raising awareness is not necessarily talking about it. There are other needs as well…” he added.

Director of the Pantang Hospital, Dr. Frank Baning who was also at the meeting applauded the act of Mr. Johnwick Nathan and asked that more well-meaning people should emulate him.

“I would say that we have been fortune for him to come through for us and we really appreciate it. It is not the quantum but it is the thought and I would say for him to just have come to visit and then see our challenges bad he is back in such a short time to support us in such a big way it is very appreciated and I think that is what as Ghanaians we should be doing for each other.” he said
