After several complaints from students to SRC and management for the provision of data for their online lectures the SRC has assured its willingness to make data available.

According to the office, the allocation of a data package will aid students in participating and attending lecturers online since there has been a directive by management for academics to be migrated online.

During the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, management undertook steps to allocate data to students due to the migration of academics to online but that did not prevail.

“Humbly, the SRC is by this notice informing all students of a timely intervention after the leadership kept in touch with a telecommunication agency to provide its students’ with a data package”. The statement said.

Thus, “the move is expected to become a reality within a period of a week from today”.
