Two residents of Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall, Miss Patrah Anima Frimpong and Mr. Gideon Agyei Boateng have donated some items to management of the hall to aid them in their service to students.
The items which were received by the Senior Hall Tutor, Prof. Abu Yaya, included a safety ladder, three (3) packs of electric sockets and ten (10) light bulbs.
This donation comes to relieve residents of some inconveniences experienced in the hall.
Members of the hall have for sometime been inconvenienced in their rooms due to either the breakdown of fans, or sockets, coupled with light bulbs that are dysfunctional.
Telling the story behind the donation, Miss Frimpong noted that the absence of a safety ladder, according to electricians in the hall, was a major hindrance to getting the faulty fans repaired and fixed.
The safety ladder will therefore aid artisans of the hall in fixing ceiling fans in all rooms that do not have one or have but need repairs, maintenance or replacement.
Miss Frimpong said this act of goodwill is a way of contributing to the development of the hall.
The donors urged residents of the hall to corporate with management and artisans as they prepare to install and fix fans in some rooms in the hall.
They believe rooms with dysfunctional fans will sooner than later have functioning fans as issues with faulty sockets and dysfunctional light bulbs will be resolved.
