Ghana’s Education Service (GES) says adequate preparations are still ongoing towards the release of the much-awaited SHS placements of candidates who sat for the 2020 edition of the BECE for School Candidates.

The Education Service comment comes after some online news portal it described as fake reported that the SHS placements will be released on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, by Ministry of Education (MoE).

A spokeswoman for GES, Cassandra Twum Ampofo in a statement copied to Educationweb.com.gh urged 2020 BECE graduates and the general public to have patience as her outfit works tirelessly on the release of the placements

“Finally, we wish to assure parents, guardians, candidates and the general public that we remain committed to ensuring a smooth, merit-based SHS placement process under established guidelines” GES stated.
