The Ghana Education Service (GES) says it has completed the construction of the John Agyekum Kuffour Senior High School in Sokoban, a town in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
In a letter, the Deputy Director-General of GES, Anthony Boateng called on the National Coordinator of the Free Senior High School (FSHS) to add the J. A Kuffour SHS to the public system as a day or boarding school.
According to him, the school has all structures in place and as a result, the institution is ready for 2020/2021 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).
“Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform you of the completion of a new school (J. A Kuffour Senior High School) located in Sokoban, Kumasi. All structures are completed and therefore the school is ready for the 2020/2021 placement,” part of the letter sighted by Topstories reads.
The letter further highlighted that the school will offer programs including Business, Home Economics, and General Arts.
