Accra Technical University To Sign Partnership Agreement With Asamoah Gyan’s Paradise Pac Mineral Water

Accra Technical University (ATU) is set to sign a partnership deal with Paradise Pac Mineral water. This was revealed on Thursday, October 19, in a meeting with the owner of Paradise Pac, Asamoah Gyan and a cross-section of Management staff led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Nii Odai.

The meeting which was chaired by the Acting Registrar of the University, Mr Adu-Adjei Mensah, sought to find the benefits of the partnership deal for the University. According to the General Manager of Paradise Pac, Mr. Samuel Ohemeng, the partnership deal would benefit both parties due to the stature of ATU.

Prof Odai, in his address, was full of appreciation to the Paradise Pac team for choosing to work with ATU in particular, out of the many universities dotted across the country. He went on to assure them of his and the University’s readiness to ensure the fruition of the deal. The Vice-Chancellor further proposed the establishment of a ‘‘Baby Jet’’ minimart on campus by the team for the promotion of made in Ghana products.

The Finance Director of ATU, Mr Frank Owusu Boateng, who was also present at the meeting entreated Mr Ohemeng to prioritise students from Accra Technical University for their industrial attachment at Paradise Pac when the agreement becomes successful.

Prof Odai, in his closing remarks, constituted and tasked a committee to expedite the materialisation of the partnership agreement with the Paradise Pac Mineral Water Limited.

An elated Asamoah Gyan expressed his appreciation to the cross-section of Management staff and Prof Odai for receiving him and his team to deliberate on how the two entities can work together. The Black Star player also presented packs of drinking water to the University.
