Ghana’s former Education Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has presented HP laptops to all Circuit Supervisors in his constituency as part of the North Tongu MP’s laptop distribution Programme.
The North Tongu Member of Parliament on social media said: “It was the turn of all circuit supervisors (School Improvement Support Officers) in my beloved constituency to receive their laptops this morning as we continue with the North Tongu MP’s Laptop Distribution Programme”.
He also hosted a breakfast meeting Thursday, November 12, 2020, to explore ways of enhancing North Tongu pandemic support system which ensures that students at home are constantly provided with reading materials.
This according to Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa is to ensure that students in the rural communities are not disadvantaged in the face of the COVID-19.
“It is my expectation that in addition to the new pick up truck for the District Education Directorate and the motorbikes I donated to all Circuit Supervisors some three years ago, they will be better equipped to perform their critical functions leading to efficient monitoring and improved quality”, he added.
