Ghana’s leading private university following the negative impact of the outbreak of the global novel coronavirus has announced a full scholarship and a no fees payment policy for 31 per cent of the Ashesi 2024 class.
Ashesi University in a blog post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh said the scholarship beneficiaries until they complete school will not pay school fees
Aside from the 31% population of the 2024 batch, another 11% by the kind courtesy of the MasterCard Foundation will receive a partial scholarship.
“Approximately 45% of the class is receiving need-based scholarships, with 31% receiving full scholarships thanks to university partners,” the Management of the Accra-based Ashesi university stated in the post.
According to the private university, 45% of the Ashesi 2024 class are women, representing 38% of engineering students in the university.
